Why We Use Golfzon

If you’ve been looking at custom home builds or high-end renovations lately, you’ve probably noticed a massive trend: golf rooms are everywhere.

A few years back, we started seeing simulator spaces popping up on architectural plans all the time. Back then, clients would often go out, find a random simulator package on their own, and come to us saying, “Hey, can you guys hook this up? It needs a projector and some cabling.” We’d say, “Of course,” but after a few of those projects, we noticed a gap. Our clients wanted a true luxury experience, but the off-the-shelf simulators they were buying just weren’t cutting it.

So, we headed to the PGA Show with some of our industry peers to really check out the simulator market. The clear winner? Golfzon.

Swing Plate

"Realized Lie" – A Moving Hydraulic Floor

When clients visit our showroom, I like to take them straight to hole 7 at Pebble Beach. It’s an iconic shot. To really show off what this system can do, I’ll intentionally shank the ball right into the rough.

Instead of forcing you to hit off a perfectly flat mat, Golfzon’s hydraulic floor system actually lifts, tilts, and shifts to match the exact lie of the ball on the screen. If you’re on a severe downhill slope in the thick grass, your feet and the ball will literally be on a downhill slope in your simulator room.

The moment that floor starts moving, clients literally pull out their phones to take videos.

Putting

No "Make-Believe" Short Game

If you’ve ever played on a standard golf simulator, you know the short game is usually a total guessing game. Once you get within 20 yards of the pin or get ready to putt, it becomes a bit of make-believe.

Not with Golfzon. Their short game is the real deal, meaning you will play every single club in your bag.

Courses

Insane Course Accuracy

How do they get it so accurate? Their team doesn’t just guess what these iconic courses look like.

First, they use Google Earth to topographically map the terrain. Then, they send a team directly out to the physical course with drones and LiDAR technology to map every single slope, break, and bunker down to the centimeter.

With high-speed cameras tracking your swing and precise 3D renderings of the golf ball, you’re getting the closest thing to reality humanly possible across over 200 world-class courses.

The Verdict

We’ve had our simulator in our showroom since 2019, and there’s a reason Golfzon was named Golf Digest’s “Editors’ Choice” for Best Simulator five years in a row. It is a true luxury home brand that pairs high-end tech with actual, realistic physics. There is a ton going on under the hood with this system, but all you and your guests will experience is pure, uncompromised gameplay.

Want to see that hydraulic floor in action for yourself? Swing by our showroom and let’s tee off at Pebble Beach, hole 7.
