Documentation, Communication, and Construction

This Tony Tech Talk is part 2 of our three part video and newsletter series that explores the client journey from discovery to construction to final installation. Today, we are taking a closer look at the construction phase.

Documentation, Communication, and Construction

Once you approve the scope of work, we move into document creation and construction. Our team builds detailed engineering documents that evolve with your project and support every step from prewire to trim out to final installation. During this phase, we step into the role of project manager and coordinate closely with your builder, interior designer, electrician, and cabinet installer to ensure every detail of your technology package is executed correctly. Clear communication is our standard at Current Home Technologies. Everyone on our team takes ownership so nothing falls through the cracks.

Documentation, Communication, and Construction

Over the years we have learned that people absorb information visually, so our engineering documentation includes clear graphics that show what equipment goes in each room. If your project includes a rack, we create a complete rack layout that shows every piece of gear and the spacing required to make it all fit. We also develop point to point schematics that show exactly how each device connects within the system.

layout documents

Our layout documents place every device on the plan and specify what cables must be run for each piece of equipment. If your project needs TV elevations or cabinet drawings, we produce those as well, making it easy for your builder, electrician, and cabinet maker to understand what is required for your installation.

We often say that everyone at our company is a CEO, because we believe in communicating early and often. Communication is the backbone of strong project management, and thorough documentation supported by consistent communication is the key to a successful construction phase.

our team

And of course, our technicians are the best in the business. They handle every detail during the prewire and trim out stages, ensuring your system is installed cleanly, correctly, and ready for the final integration work that comes next.
